Sweden has just been selected to host LM 2 after a bidding process against 5 other cities, two being from Sweden. Stockholm will host LM 2on the 20th of July.

Voting for these five songs will continue untill the 30th of May

The 5 qualifiers will be announced tonight. 

The Final of Musik Festivalen 1, which will take place on the 27th May, will be a spectacular show. Timoteij will kick it off with The performance of Stormande Hav. Then a recap of the 12 songs will be played. After that the Jury votes will be announced. Then the Public votes will be announced. After the winner is announced, the winning song will be performed again. The winner will be Sweden's entry at Love of Music 2, held in Switzerland or Sweden.

After sad news that Ryan, the host for the United Kingdom could not host LM 2. Sweden has placed three bids for the honour of hosting LM 2, one in Stockholm, one in Malmö and one in Växjö.
